This photo was taken on a foggy day on the beach in the Camargue, France.Time
I was on the photography expedition to photograph the Camargue horses. This was around 3pm.Lighting
This is natural lighting.Equipment
Canon 6D Mark 2, 70-300 Canon lens, hand held, 70mm, f5.6, ISO 4000, 1/500Inspiration
I wanted to get a moody shot of the horse, white on white.Editing
I cropped the photo, removed the bridle, denoise, sharpened, added a tiny bit of vignette. In my camera bag
At the time I had a Canon 6D Mark 2, a Canon 28-105, Canon 70-300, a Canon T2i converted to infrared with a Canon 18-200. I now have a Canon R7 with an 18-150.Feedback
To get good pictures of the Camargue horses, you need to find a workshop that has access to them, specifically for photographers. Some people say white on white does not work - I disagree :)
