Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at my brother's cottage. This is my daughter, who was very patient with me as I had her do this a few times until I got the right shot. I then cropped it and did a selective colour in Photoshop to make her face in colour and the rest in black and white. I thought it fit the title.
Time
This was taken mid-afternoon while the kids were swimming in the lake.
Lighting
The lighting was natural sunlight.
Equipment
Canon Rebel T5i with a Canon 28-200 lens. No flash and handheld.
Inspiration
I was watching the kids playing in the water and my daughter was diving down and coming up. As soon as I saw her doing that, I asked he to do it again so that I could get her face coming out of the water. It took a few times to get the right shot.
Editing
Crop, light adjustment and then layering to do the selective colour.
In my camera bag
Canon Rebel T5i with a 28-200 and an original Canon Rebel converted to infrared with a Canon 28-135 lens.
Feedback
Keep on shooting until you get it right (as long as the subject lets you that is :))
