Location
This photo was taken at my brother's cottage at Kenebec Lake in Ontario.Time
This was early morning, before anyone else was up. The mist was coming off the lake and the sun was just coming up.Lighting
This is natural light.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon Rebel with a Canon 70-200 zoom lens.Inspiration
It was a perfect morning for photographing the lake. No one was up, the lake was glass flat with mist coming covering it.Editing
I did do a crop (off the left of the picture) and changed levels and contrast. In my camera bag
I now have a Canon 6D and a Canon T2i converted to infrared. I also have Canon 24-105 and 70-300 lenses.Feedback
You need to get up early in the morning. As soon as the sun comes up, the wind usually starts and then you get waves on the lake.
