Traveling back from near Foyers along General Wade's military road the evening was closing in fast..too fast the clouds were forming right behind me to create what was a true fierce highlands winter storm over Loch Ness. Stopping the car and hurrying to set up in a waterside layby before the rain soaked me I intuitively loaded my Benbo 5 with the camera and lens, I used my ultra sharp Sigma 50mm F-1.4 ART and kept the aperture quite open at 5.6 this was to ensure everything right into the corners was absolutely super sharp. The camera was a Canon EOS 550d and the Iso 100, after effects were taken care of with Lightroom although apart from toning little else took place.
