After a day of hiking with our family (incl couple grandkids) in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, we stopped for our dinner at a picnic area near a pond (near historic Millbrook Village). Known for its mountain vistas, beautiful fall foliage, waterfalls, the village, and the (at times) lazy Delaware, this area was still pretty lush in early September (tho I did a little Photoshop work on it too…). It was after sunset, and the kids had (finally) stopped running to the water's edge to chase the Canada geese away… After the pond had quieted down I shot a few exposures, even though it was pretty dark by then (hence bit of graininess). But I do like the subtle shades of greens.
