The Atlantic Ocean. Picture from Portugal Cove South on the southern tip of the Avalon Peninsula Newfoundland Canada and near Mistaken Point world UNESCO heritage site.
Newfoundland is notibly the foggiest place on earth. Conditions for the shot were horrible, heavy fog, poor visibility and varying degrees of rain. Used plastic camera bags to keep the camera and lens dry and a pocket full of tissues to wipe the moisture and water from the lens. Used a 10 stop Lee ND filter to blend the movement of the waves crashing onto the rocky beach.
This picture was shot in color however it looks pretty much like a Black and White image.
