Location
This is a composite of two photos - one is a photo of the fields and the mountain and the other is a photo of this cave-like formation that is actually a tree trunk that I found lying on the ground. Since it was difficult to get everything in focus, due to the size of the hole inside the tree trunk which barely had space for the camera, I decided to take two photos. The photographs were taken in Lika county, a part of Croatia known for its range of fields, many underground rivers and Velebit mountain that you can see in the middle of the composition.Time
If I can remember correctly it was taken in the afternoon, a couple of hours before the sunset.Lighting
The lighting is all natural like it is on majority of my photos.Equipment
Both of the photos were taken with my Canon 600d and a canon 10-18mm lens. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
The beauty of nature that serves in silence is an everlasting source of inspiration for me as well as for many other photographers I feel.Editing
I did quite a lot of post-processing. Both of the photos I used for this image were done as HDRs, so (if you count the different exposures) there are actually six different exposures blended in the final image. I firstly addressed each of the HDRs in lightroom and later put them together using Photoshop and at the end applied the final touches to the finished image in lightroom again. In my camera bag
I don't have a lot of equipment so everything fits nicely in my shoulder bag. It consists of a canon 600d camera body and canon lenses 10-18, 18-55, 55-250 and a 50 f1.8. I also use a Sony tripod and a Meike flash.Feedback
My main advice would be: know what you are after because that will allow you to explore the means of getting there. There are so many great advices that can be found on line and I do it on a regular basis. Once you have some knowledge you can start playing with it, because nothing is good unless you play with it.
