Mylabris Quadripunctata is a Blister Beetle that occurs widely in the south of Europe and in Turkey. The 13-16 mm long beetle can be recognized from the orange to bright red shields, the rest of the body being black. The antennae are clearly segmented and broadest at the ends. 'Quadripunctata' means "four points", referring to the four large black spots on its body.
