thank you so much for your comment! I had to lay flat on the floor and be super quiet ;) he can be quite a jumpy cat.

Location
This photo was taken in Bend, OR. My little Rocky loves staring out the window, specially when interesting things are going on. He loves loves snow and this was the first snow in this apartment.Time
This photo was taken in the afternoon, about 1 pm. It was really bright and cloudy.Lighting
This was a very bright cloudy day, so light was diffused. I did turn the lights off inside the apartment, I wanted to avoid multiple light sources.Equipment
5DMarkIII with a 70 - 200 mm lens.Inspiration
I have two cats, this one is the smallest one. He is always so curious, and observant. This particular day I was cleaning my equipment in the living room when it started snowing. He sat there, just staring for about 20 minutes without moving. I thought he looked so cute, I had to take a photo. So I put my camera together and lay on the floor and took this. I wanted to show, in one image, what I thought he was thinking... he seemed so captivated by the snow.Editing
I did some color balance, and emphasized the lens vignette. In my camera bag
I carry two camera bodies: Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 7D. I also have a 50 mm prime, 70-200 mm, 24-70 mm, and a 10-22 mm. I always have a grey card, a tripod, and a reflector with me.Feedback
Be patient. Also, don't be afraid of laying on the floor if necessary to get the shot!
