Location
I took this photo at Muratovo lake in Pirin Mountains, southwestern Bulgaria. It is one of the Banderishi lakes but it is a little bit apart from the main path to the other lakes and most of the people skip it and take the main path to see the other lakes. That's why this lake is a very good destination for photography as it is not crowded with visitors. And it is calm and clean.Time

I went there to take this photo. I love the mountain, I love this particular place. I was walking around the lake waiting for the sunset but the sky was clear and i did not expect a spectacular sunset. Just when I decided to leave a couple of clouds appeared and the hills turned yellow. But this lasted a couple of seconds only and I couldn't take a picture. I got very disappointed that I have missed the moment but decided to take a couple of pictures just like that and then leave. I set up my camera and started taking some boring pictures when suddenly the hills and the clouds turned pink, bright pink. And this was the moment I was waiting for. I was ready and I took the picture. It was so wonderful, so colorful and beautiful. One of my favorite scenes ever.Editing
As I am self-educated post-processor I am still afraid to do much post-processing. For this pictures I reduced the shadows and added some clarity and saturation. In my camera bag

Just be there for the moment and wait for it!
