Location
I took it on the train, on my way to work at morning. The wagon was almost empty so I grabed my camera, I was trying not to be noticed by the madam but it was hard because we were face to face with just a few empty seats between us. Happily I could.Time
It was around 9 am. A quiet sunny morning.Lighting
Well I usually shoot without flash, that morning was really bright in contrast to the inside of the wagon which was much darker without any artificial lights on.Equipment
I took this one with my first Nikon D5100 and a 50mm lens, no flash.Inspiration
I love to play and adapt to the environment. This picture is the result of playing without perturbing the subject but taking risks, preserving the lady posture and gesture just as she was. The handles of the seats let me introduce her in a tunnel (working as a vignette, framing her and creating a question or intrigue) and the window reveal her completing the context (by way of answer).Editing
I only converted the photo to grayscale. In my camera bag
I'm always with a 50mm or 35mm lens, you know, the simple check: id? phone? camera?.Feedback
Just play, enjoy, adapt, fail, try again, be respectful.
