Pictured here is a view of a fog covered field near Groundhog Mountain in Patrick County, VA. It's a rather simple scene, but one I'll always remember for the silent, yet peaceful stillness that hung over the area.
I stood there alone in the fog, enjoying the almost surreal atmosphere... It gave me a chance to step back, and take in the quiet beauty of this Blue Ridge Mountain region.
