Pictured here is Mabry Mill, located at milepost 176.2 along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Meadows of Dan, VA. This water powered mill was built by Edwin Mabry in the early 1900s, and has become one of the most photographed sites in the United States. There is also find a whiskey still, a sorghum mill, a working blacksmith, and a restaurant at this location.
This beautiful mill is a must see location for travelers on the BRP.

"Mabry Mill" is an HDR image constructed from 3 separate shots, with a differential of 2 stops between images.
The resulting HDR image was processed using a combination of ACR, Photomatix, and Photoshop (includes the use of Topaz Labs plugins -- Adjust, Clean, Denoise, Glow, Impression, and LensFX).
