So in addition to shooting bluebells, I was actually at the farm to work on the pond project - my fellow volunteers can be seen here excavating a hibernaculum, the piles of branches will form the insides and the whole thing will be reburied to keep it warm and moist - ideal place for Newts and other amphibians to overwinter next year. In the background you can see the water-plants we planted later on in the wekend
