Pictured here is a view from high above Midtown Manhattan shortly after sunset... Blue hour had only just settled in over Gotham, but the lights were already shining brightly across the city.
This particular section of NYC was the same one impacted by a recent blackout... That power outage shutdown subways, restaurants, shops, and even the massive video walls in Times Square, impacting close to 100,000 residents and visitors at the time. Fortunately by the time we arrived it looked as if nothing had happened, as the bright lights were shining brightly again. New York has always been quite resilient, which is definitely one of it's best features -- even more so than its beautiful skyline.
