Location
I took this photo in my front yard in Lewisburg, West Virginia. I have a small flower garden and it attracts butterflies. I am a beginning photographer and was thrilled to capture this shot of two Monarch butterflies at the same time.Time
This was taken late morning on one of the many beautiful mornings in the mountains of West Virginia.Lighting
I used the Daylight White Balance feature on my camera and Mother Nature did the rest.Equipment
Canon Rebel T6, with a 75-300mm lens, handheldInspiration
I love experimenting with my camera on birds, butterflies and flowers. I have to admit, since I am a beginner photographer, the flowers are much easier to shot. The birds and butterflies seem to be in constant motion!Editing
I cropped the photo and added my watermark but that was it for editing. In my camera bag
I always have my 24-55mm and my 75-300 mm lenses with me along with extra batteries and a cleaning cloth. As I have said...I am new to photography so I only have the basics for now.Feedback
Patience is the key! Something that I sometimes struggle with but it pays off.
