Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the boat ramp at the Anclote River Park in Pasco County Florida. I am fairly new to photography so I was thrilled to get this shot.

Time

It was in the early afternoon. I originally went to see if I could find the Eagle's nest when I spotted this beauty by the water.

Lighting

Just a normal beautiful sunshiny day in Florida....no other lighting needed.

Equipment

I shot this with my Canon Rebel T6...no tripod.

Inspiration

I love the color of the legs and feel on this bird! I had never noticed it before but the way the sun was hitting the bird, it was the first thing I noticed. Great combination of blue and green!

Editing

Just did not cropping on this one...nothing else needed.

In my camera bag

I usually go out with my Canon Rebel T6 and my Canon 90D and various lenses....Sigma 18-400 mm, Sigma 150-600 mm, Canon 75-300 mm and Canon 18-55 mm. I also take my Tripod.

Feedback

I am a novice and learning something new every day. Just go out and shoot as many photos as you can and experiment with lenses and camera settings. I shot this in Aperture Priority mode and have found I like that mode.
