Behind The Lens

Location

It is my garden in late summer.

Time

Lazy Saturday afternoon, good weather, sunny and no wind

Lighting

Low, warm light. My garden is open to the west.

Equipment

I had old Canon 5D and even older, analogue lens Sigma 50 mm macro f 2,8. It works on digital camera but only wide open. I like it very much. It lets me to go so close to the subject that I can even touch it and photograph is still focused.

Inspiration

Cosmos is easy growing plant, nothing special, but it has its beauty and I wanted to catch it.

Editing

postprocessing is little as always I do, just a bit of contrast and tones.

In my camera bag

Usually I use Canon 5DMkIII, Canon 70-200L f4. Tripod, sometimes wide lens like Canon 17-40 f4, or Tamron 17-35 f,2,8 or any macro lens, for example this old Sigma 50 mm.

Feedback

I still use analogue camera so I have some great old lenses. Even if apreture doesnt work with digital body it is funny to experiment, and sometimes it is possible to get an interesting result.
