What are the chances of having a dragonfly sit still long enough to photograph it properly....not real great most of the time....but in this case TWO, and not just two, but two different varieties??? These two gorgeous specimens just happened to be flitting around the same part of the pond and landed simultaneously on this tiny post. They flirted with each other for a time, not sure who really owned this little bit of real estate, then flew off. It was pretty amazing!

Wow, fantastic shot, a combination of luck and skill and amazingly sharp, probably the best dragonfly photo I've seen. I'll be shocked if this doesn't win a contest.
