No matter what the species, a mother's love is unparalleled as is evidenced by this Anna's hummingbird feeding her chicks. This little lady was kind enough to build her nest in a secure open area accessible to photographers at a nearby wildlife refuge near the wetlands off San Francisco Bay. Day in and day out she returned to the nest to feed her babies about every 15 minutes. What a treat it has been to watch Mother Nature perform one of her many miracles.

omg THAT must have been a very interesting experience !!! just got back from the Calgary Zoo and took lots of shots but unfortunately not many great ones !!! Have been working a lot on my art and hopefully can make some $ this winter and buy new pc and software AGAIN
