Location

This image was taken through the kitchen window into my backyard, Kansas City, MO.

Time

This was taken at breakfast time, around 8 am.

Lighting

Natural morning sunlight.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D5100 with a Tamron 150-600 lens.

Inspiration

We have created a nice bird habitat in our back yard by planting native trees and flowers and setting up feeding stations. It is so much more interesting to watch nature than news while eating breakfast and enjoying morning coffee. This bright orange in the white bud tree was certainly noticeable, and the Oriole stayed around about a week until the buds were gone.
