It is now April 16th and we had more SNOW overnight! I was looking out the backdoor when I spotted a cute little bird that I had never seen in my yard. It has cute pink long legs and is quite plump. I finally was able to identify this bird and it's mate who was also in the yard as a Hermit Thrush. They migrate through Illinois where I live to upper Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin to breed. I was very excited that they stopped over in my yard!
