I met this bird at a Rescue and Rehab Center for Birds of Prey. This is an amazing eagle and the species is endangered. This bird broke a wing and will not be able to be released so it is in their education program. The Eagle is the largest in the Americas and is native mainly in Mexico, Central America and Northern South America.
