A baby elephant is taking a mud bath. This one is probably only one or two weeks old and could barely walk. But it didn't stop him from joining in on the fun with his parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles. While the grownups are throwing mud on their backs with their trunks, this little guy went all in. They love to do this went it gets a little too warm outside. We were lucky to come across this herd of elephants. How they protect their babies are amazing. We were surrounded by a few grownups until the rest of the herd moved away into safety and we were warned not to interfere.
