Behind The Lens

Location
The picure was taken in the Netherlands, in a small village by the seaside. We had planned a mixed shoot, a bit of romantic portraits on the beach and some dance poses by the sea. It got to cold on the beach so we went for a drink and a pauze. Afterwards I took this one in a small street where it was warmer than at the beach. The model is a very talented young dancer. She's welcome for some more shoots! Watch out for her, she's gonna make it as a pro dancer!
Time
It was about 5 in the afternoon I think. We took a long pause before :-)
Lighting
This was shot just with available daylight. Of course I made it look a bit more dramatic in post processing.
Equipment
My Canon 7D, sigma 24-70... And my bad knees for a tripod :-D
Inspiration
The model once again. I talk to them en let them sugest some poses themselves, things they want to try out or what they know they're good at. This was a pose I knew she liked, because we did about the same in an earlier shoot. (Perhaps I could post that one too)
Editing
Oh yes. Black and white and some darkening blendmodes, also for some vignetting.
In my camera bag
I always pack just the minimum. Camera 7d; 24-70; 50; 70-200
Feedback
Choose an enthousiastic model, she did all the heavy lifting after all :-D But seriously: it 's amazing what dancers are capable of!
