I had 3 female hummingbirds and 1 male a couple of weeks ago. The next day, there were 2 males and they spent the day fighting with even bodily contact. The day after that, 1 male and all of the females were gone and I am left with this male hummingbird. He sits up high and monitors any intrusion into "his" territory and drives them away.
