Traveling through Namibia along the famous D707 gravel road I decided to stay over night at a ranch called Koiimasis. I had heard that there was a spectacular quiver tree forest nearby. I was the only one or miles when I arrived just before sunset. As I was standing amongst the quiver tree forest I saw this tree that was off to one side. It almost seemed liked it had walked away from the group, dropping limbs with every step, moving away to die quietly by itself. A very surreal experience.
