Scattered across both sides of trail like stardust
My usual spot for sunset nowadays is part of Cabrillo Beach near Stairway to Ocean. This short trail to the top of the stairway is full of surprises, and thanks to the ample amount of rain this past winter, the wildflowers were blooming like crazy. The vivid yellow petals, almost translucent at times, scattered across both sides of the trail like stardust, juxtaposed against the dark and yet beautiful silhouette of the palm trees. While the sun was dropping to the horizon, the magic hour glow was slowly but surely seeping through the air. What a lovely sight to remember.
