It is fascinating to notice that there were trees once stood as large as the one I captured fallen. And now all there standing are short pines that may not last long in this harsh terrain where gales of winds howl through night and day. Once the sun was up, the temp rose, and yet, it was a clear reminder of how vulnerable its distinctive ecological system was. Well, this is definitely an alpine habitat.
