This park was technically closed when I went. I was after a heavy snowfall and I was the only one there. I put on my back pack full of gear and my man purse and waded into the snow which was thigh high in spots. I was the first to step into this snow and it was incredibly quiet. The only thing that could be heard was birds and the sounds of the trees moving in the wind. I had worn spikes on my boots and it was a good thing. There was ice underneath the snow and it was very slippery. Who know how long I would have laid there had I got hurt. I wasn't there long but it was worth it but It was a lot of work carrying all that gear.

I read your story of your trek. The things we do to get the "photo" we would. I like the B/W , the snow on each side of the water fall, the speed of the film , the blurred water in the foreground , the photo is clear and bright
