Perfectly timed for my taste
I turned around to check on the sun. Instead of hanging above the horizon as I had expected, it was actually about to set behind Cabrillo Bluff! That I didn’t anticipate! So, I briskly moved down to a spot where I could compose a shot with the rocks at the bottom of the barrier in the foreground. It was one of my favorite spots, so it didn’t take long to settle in. Perfectly timed for my taste, the sun fell just behind the bluff, illuminating the corner of the bluff and creating a wonderful silhouette. The sunset glow cast on the surface of the water, glistening rocks and momentarily naked sand beach by the receding water was just so pleasing to my eye. I really liked the short waves that kept rolling in one after another. I just had to seize that perfect moment to capture all of them breaking together.
