Snapping away for last light
Once the sun completely sank below the horizon, the clouds turned intense red. A faint of orange hue still lingered just above the horizon, but it didn’t take long for the color to seep into the water surface. The sun’s rays-deflected and scattered sky seemed frozen in time in the company of the amplified hue. Beautiful. And so surreal. But it was getting dimmer fast. The darkness lurked close by. The colorful luminance was disappearing by the second. I moved down the beach a bit and got to the water as closely as I could without getting my sneakers wet. I opened the shutter as wide as the camera let me and started snapping away for the last light.
