I went to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Sault Ste Marie to see the locks and photograph ships. The first evening we were there, one of my favorite ships left the locks after coming into them from Lake Superior. It was traveling on the St. Mary's River and headed for Lake Huron, another of the Great Lakes, USA.
