I heard that there were twin Red River Hog babies born 17 days ago at the zoo I go to frequently. When we got there, the parents were eating hay and there was no sign of the babies. Other people around us left and just then we both noticed a stick moving by a pile of hay. The babies suddenly appeared and took off across the area to find mom. They are very fast and very cute. She nursed them for a short time and moved away from them. They started running after her again and eventually began "fighting" with each other. Finally tired out, they lay down next to each other, began snuggling and fell asleep.
