Location
In my very own backyard! My Mom grows gorgeous flowers every year and I wanted to try to capture their beauty luckily for me This photo turned out beautifully!Time
This particular photo was taken in the afternoon probably sometime between 1-3. Everything was at its peak, it was extra beautiful and practically begging to be photographed! I tend to take most of my pictures in the afternoon because the lighting is perfect!Lighting
I took this in the afternoon which is a very bright time of day (granted it's not cloudy or raining of course). As a starting photographer, lighting can be a difficult aspect of photography, but Mother nature was on my side! Lighting was perfect! The sun was shining in just the right direction, so no weird shadows were casted on the flowers.Equipment
Canon EOS REBEL T5 was the only equipment used in the taking of this photo.Inspiration
My Mom grows beautiful flowers in her garden every year, and I've always wanted to capture their beauty. Getting my own proper camera this year meant I could! I spent a lot of time in the garden taking photos. After a few tries I ended up with this photo. I've always loved taking pictures of flowers even when it was only with my phone. Something about pictures of flowers is just so inspirational to me!Editing
Yes. I used the crop tool to clean up the edges, as well as the define and sharpen tools just to make it a little sharper. I also took this opportunity to play around with some different filters. After a little bit of editing I got this beautiful photo! In my camera bag
I always carry... A lens that goes over top of my phone, a lens for taking landscape photos, my camera, numerous different cords, and my camera charger.Feedback
I recommend playing around with different angles and different blooming flowers. I would also recommend waiting until the sun is bright and you won't get any weird shadows on the flower. Play around with different distances, and be patient it may take time to get just the right angle and distance. After you've taken the picture try playing around with some different filters and editing tools! Most importantly just have some fun with it, and be creative!
