I was out in my backyard waiting for hummingbirds to show up and this female finally flew in. Instead of going to any of the Salvia flowers, she just perched on different stems and appeared to pose. I got at least 12 different poses and this is one of my two favorites. Suddenly the male hummingbird showed up and they both flew off. It was almost as if she was trying to attract the male.
