Location
I have a small farm in northwestern Ohio. I own 27 horses, a flock of about 30-40 sheep and raise Labrador retrievers. One night I was standing outside of the horse pasture. The horses gather to get some "lovin'" and some treats. I just happened to capture this image as "Lily" gave me a big yawn!!Time
This photo was taken in the early evening.Lighting
All lighting is natural.Equipment
I was using an older Canon EOS Rebel XS with an 18-55 mm lens. No flash or tripod was used.Inspiration
I am an amateur photographer and was experimenting taking pictures of my horses. "Lily" just happened to give me a big yawn as I was clicking away. I didn't expect to get this image, but everyone gets lucky once in awhile.Editing
I do not have software for editing photos. All my photos are as I have taken them.In my camera bag
I currently have two cameras....My older Canon EOS Rebel XS and a Canon t5i. I have several Canon lenses....a 100 mm macro, a 60 mm macro, an 18-55 mm and a 150-300 mm. I also have a Tamron 150-600 mm.Feedback
Just keep shooting!! I was just taking normal pictures of the horses out on pasture. I didn't expect Lily to yawn, but when she did, I was lucky enough to capture the image. Look for things to photograph...You will be amazed at what you walk past every day. Experiment and think outside the box. Most of all...enjoy the art of photography!
