Behind The Lens

Location

I own a small farm in northwestern Ohio. This photo was taken between my horse barn and my dog pen.

Time

I was taking my Labrador retrievers for a walk to my woods in the morning. I was carrying my camera with me in case I came upon a photo op or two.

Lighting

I don't have software to edit my photos, so all of my photos are as I saw them. Lighting is as natural as it gets.

Equipment

I used a Canon EOS Rebel XS with a 18-55 mm lens. No tripod or flash was used.

Inspiration

I am an amateur and was looking for unusual items to photograph. I came upon this hydrant and it had a double spider web....one on each side of the hydrant. The lighting was such that it illuminated the web fairly well.

Editing

No.....Everything is exactly as I took it.

In my camera bag

I have two Rebel cameras....my older one is a EOS Rebel XS and my newer one is a t5i. I have several lenses from the 18-55 mm clear up to a Tamron 150-600 mm.

Feedback

Shoot what you like.....Take several different shots from different angles. Remember that not all shots are going to be successful.
