I went early in the morning 2 days ago and spotted a pair of Sandhill Cranes walking in the grass on the side of the marsh. I was able to quietly sneak to within about 50 feet with my tripod and camera. As I was shooting, I realized that the pair had 2 babies in the grass near them. I was excited to be able to see them. They were so cute. Their legs are as long as their bodies and they worked hard to stay caught up with their parents.
