i was on a trip staying in nearby motel only few hundred meters from this lookout. i was getting up every morning to get sunrise was hoping for morning fog or clouds blanketing the jamison valley below instead managed to get some smoke haze from nearby hazard reduction.Editing
white balance colour corrected to cooler tones with gradual filter from top to horizon. with some shadow and highlights fixing. can't remember too much else been awhile since i worked on this photo.In my camera bag
i always bring my landscape gear for traveling light, Nikon D7200, Gobe cpl filter, tokina 11-16mm, sirui carbon fiber tripod, 2 spare batteries, micro fiber cloth, miops trigger for night time astrophotography, 50mm for street photography or hikes.Feedback
while in the unique moment try many different angles as this might be only time you see this shot with the conditions on that morning. underexpose the photo for highlights as you can bring a lot of data back from shadows. include 3 elemnts, front, foreground, background.
