This photo was taken in the Black Spur near Healesville in VictoriaTime
I captured this shot on an early summers morning around 10amLighting
The sun was trying to break through the mist giving it a wonderful mood. It was there for the taking and had to stop and capture the momentEquipment
This was shot on a Nikon D5300 with a Nikon 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 lens and a UV filter, hand heldInspiration
Whilst on a day drip out with the family, we drove up through the Black Spur, came across this section with a heavy mist and light trying to break through. The mood of the scene, was naturally magnificent, and i was being drawn to stop and capture it before the moment had passed. I was so happy i did, as this is one of my favorite shotsEditing
Very little, lowered the contrast slightly and darkened the greens a touchIn my camera bag
I only have 1 camera, a Nikon D5300, 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 and a 50mm 1.8g, uv, cpl, nd filters cleaning cloth and pen, spare batteryFeedback
When ever traveling through mountains, always have your camera set for the ready. Don't think, I'll get that shot on the way back, stop and capture it then and there, as everything might change within 30 mins.
