Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot in Arden New York.

Time

this was around late afternoon it was really cold but my husband wanted to explore an area we had not been to so we did and found this little cottage nestled along this river.

Lighting

The lighting was really good because of the light snow and the sun was out but hidden behind the trees which kept it from being to bright.

Equipment

For this shot i used a canon 18mm-135mm lens i did not use a tripod because i wanted my hands free.

Inspiration

I like snow shots and old buildings so these two things together made me really love this area and shot, the lighting and the trees helped make it look like it was in a deep forest.

Editing

All i really did on this shot was enhance it and sharpen it.

In my camera bag

Right now i use a canon 70D with a 18mm-135mm lens and also an 150mm-600mm lens.

Feedback

All i can really say is just get out there and find your beauty i wasn't expecting to see this shot but i'm glad i did and i'm glad i spent some time exploring and seeing new things.
