Love how the tiles really bring out the defined work of the window/seal itself~ The curtains make this more exquisite~ Great photo~ :)

Location
I took this photo in the capital city of one of the best countries in Europe for this theme; Lisbon Portugal!Time
It was about two pmLighting
I took this photo in a typical Lisbon narrow street where the sun didn't shine any direct light. Easy and beautiful indirect light.Equipment
I have a Lumix DMC-TZ60, a wonderful small camera with a nice little Leica lens. I didn't use any extra equipment. It was a spontanious quick photo standing in the middle of a Lisbon street with cars passing me in all directions...Inspiration
I was walking through an old neighbourhood in Lisbon, Portugal when my eye caught this wonderful old window with some renewed and some missing tiles. The imperfection in the strict geometrical patterns realy intrigued me!Editing
I did no post-processing at all exept for some cropping of the original size of the photo. In my camera bag
I don't have a bag of equipment... My love for natural beauty and spontanious composition is enough for the moment. I always carry my Lumix DMC-TZ100 with me, wich practically fits in my back pocket and I never have to worry about the extra equipment as I am in the beginning of the learning process of photography. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand how it works first...Feedback
To take a photo like this one, you need nothing more than a good eye for detail and a drive to see what others don't see... Just look around you and be bewondered about the beautiful and crazy world we are living in. If you look at a subject to photograph, you have to try to realise what you want to achieve before you take the photo, Try to find the good light, the right point of view and the best composition... And most of all, take more shots with slightly different settings so you can choose the best one. Once you get home and open your laptop, the magic of today's world begins... I allways crop it later into the size and composition I like best. Crop the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them! And last but not least... beware of the traffic around you, I was standing in the middle of the street with all traffic passing all around me while taking a few shots... photography can be deadly, hahaha!
