Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in my front yard November 2015.
Time
This is one of my favorite images I have taken of my dog. I love how she blends in to the surrounding leaves. She wanted a belly rub after her afternoon walk, but it looks like she is sinking into a quicksand like pile of leaves.
Lighting
I like how the natural sunlight shines off of the leaves and her fur. I use only natural light if I am outside. I like the realistic look.
Equipment
I had used a Lumix camera (I don't remember the exact model I no longer use that camera)
Inspiration
At the time I almost didn't take the photo but my parents urged me to saying she was adorable looking, and I am really happy I listened to them. It turned into one of my best photographs.
Editing
No editing.
In my camera bag
I always have my camera (now it is a Nikon p900) cellphone, extra batteries, lens cleaner.
Feedback
Try to capture moments as they happen, you never know when a top photo might take place. Even if you don't think the moment is photo worthy, almost every moment is. Never miss an opportunity.
