Congratulations to the winners and finalists, and a special round of applause for the Grand Jury Winner who wins an iPad Mini.

Grand Jury Winner

"This once-a-lifetime shot really showcased the chaos and beauty at the same time. The contrast between the rainbow and the dark sky; the rain and the dry habitat; the smooth curve of the colorful rainbow vs the spikes of the sharp bright lightning; the shape of the cactus vs the lightning; the cactus in the foreground and the background near the end of the rainbow also created depth. The lightning lit up the clouds behind it which was beautiful and unique. Kudos to the photographer who improvised at the tough situation to get the best out of this opportunity." - Tin Man Lee

Runner Up

"The interesting hairdos of the Lesser Crested Tern brought a smile when they were in such a packed colony. The black and white color of their feather and their orange bill created a chaotic pattern of nature." - Tin Man Lee

Honorary Mention

"Powerful splash, critically sharp and stunning moment captured with the wings direction perfectly balanced in this great shot, which demonstrated how tough it was for the gannets to survive in nature. The plumage of their heads also complemented the color of the dark blue water." - Tin Man Lee

Amateur Winner

"Sometimes great photo can still be taken at world popular tourist attractions if we are creative and work hard to get the angles. The photographer captured this stunning shot with otherworldly colors complimenting with each other perfectly, and composition which lets the viewers think." - Tin Man Lee
