Location
This photo was taken in Oia, Santorini along a stone road walking into the city.Time
I shot this around 7:30-8:00PMLighting
This was all natural light. Oia is known for the best sunsets in the world, so all I had to do was wait for the perfect moment. I saw this shot earlier in the day and came back when the lighting was just right.Equipment
My other camera was acting up, so I actually shot this with my backup Nikon D5100 and a Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5Inspiration
The unique combination of old and new was really intriguing. The island is full of old ruins that have been integrated perfectly with the newer more modern Greek architecture.Editing
Only minor color corrections. In my camera bag
I always have my Nikon D610 on me. My favorite lens is my Nikor 50mm f/1.8. However, for my landscape shots I break out the Tamron 10-24mm mentioned above. Since I'm still an amateur, I have limited lens options. My other lenses consist of the Nikor 85mm f/1.4 and the stock 18-55mmFeedback
Compose your shot well before the light is perfect, then wait around for the conditions to be perfect.
