Back when I was in college, I took the opportunity to photograph a good friend of mine for a story that was being written about him for the college newspaper... the story was to cover his role in a local play. As we waited in the wings for his entrance on stage, I managed to capture this wonderful portrait of him. I ended up using this photo of him, and when our college paper took part in the state wide competitions, this was one of the photos that was submitted. It won 3rd place in the state of Texas in it's category. I am immensely proud of it.
