Last year I joined a group of people who did a charity climb to the top of Mt. Snowdon, at the heart of Snowdonia national park, Wales. It was a good day out with friends. As we started out in the morning, the cloud base was quite low. For most of the climb up, we were walking though cloud and mist, but as we neared the summit, the cloud broke and we had some very clear views above the clouds that still encircled the mountain range. We finally reached the top, spent a little while up at the top at the cafe, and then started our descent down, momentarily stopping to get some photos of the beautiful scenery. I spotted these two natural standing stones as if they were standing guard over the peaks and the valley below. I called them "Father and Son" and that was going to be my original title to the photo. The view is stunning. Please enjoy looking at it larger.
