Were you just there this past week?? We just missed the snow in Yosemite but it caught up to us in Sequoia...had 4-6" Thursday and Friday! This is just gorgeous.

Absolutely love your photo, the composition and mood are simply awesome. If I could have awarded a runner up in my weather photo challenge, it would have been this photo. Thanks so much for entering it.

Location
Taken at Tunnel View Yosemite Valley, Yosemite National Park.Time
Taken May 7, 2015 midmorning.Lighting
It had been raining and snowing a few minutes earlier until the valley opened up and i could see Bridal Falls and part of El Capitan.Equipment
I took this with a Nikon D610 and 16-35mm lens, hand held.Inspiration
This is a world renown place for photography so when I headed up for the photo i took the chance that the rain and snow might clear for a spectacular view of the valley.Editing
I processed this in LR and used a plugin from On1.In my camera bag
I usually carry a Nikon D610 and 16-35 and 80-400 Nikon lenses. I also carry an assortment of ND filters and tripod.Feedback
My advice for this shot would be to use a tripod but sense it was raining and snowing just a little earlier I decided to try a handheld shot.
