Taken above the north tower of the Golden Gate Bridge looking toward San Francisco and the hidden south tower. I took this before I was hoping to get some great fireworks shots for the 4th of July. I didn't get any, the fog won out ;)!

Behind The Lens

Location
Above the North Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Time
It was about mid afternoon.
Lighting
What was special about the lighting is it was clear behind me and the Sun was to the right which gave a nice effect on the fog.
Equipment
This was a handheld shot using a Nikon D610 with a Nikon 16-35 lens.
Inspiration
I thought this might be an interesting photo because the City of San Francisco and the south tower were covered by fog.
Editing
This was processed using LR and a plugin from On1 Software.
In my camera bag
I usually carry 16-35 and 80-400 Nikon lenses. I also carry an assortment of ND filters and tripod.
Feedback
This photo is unique because of the location of the Sun and fog to the Bay and the Bridge also the conversion to black and white brought the contrasts and lighting in a unique way.
